TEKNOTROPHEO - Bringing up Our Nation's Youth to Total Development

OUR MISSION PROJECTS

April of 1997 marked the realization of our pilot mission. We started reaching out to poor children in Bugallon, Pangasinan. The first project we had in partnership with the local government, was the safety precautions’ sign boards for the public school which is near the high way. This project was built for the protection of the children crossing the street. We were able to put up also our first Teknotropheo Learning Center (TLC) for the poor children, within a period of eleven months, together with our volunteer-workers and generous sponsors. This project was then turned over in February 1998 to our partner local church, the Solid Rock Bible Congregation.

In March 1998, we started reaching out to Mangyan tribe of Mindoro Island by conducting medical mission and film showing to different Mangyan communities in Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro,Philippines.

In January 1999, we chose to focus reaching out to one Mangyan community, the Nangka Mangyans. We started to implement our H.O.P.E. ministry programs to Mangyan children in the community and we rented a house near the school. In order to facilitate better our ministry activities for the children, we envisioned to build a development center.

In June 2003, we were able to purchase a 200 sq.m. lot in the town proper of Abra de Ilog near the public school.

December 2003, we moved to the said lot and built a small house so we would not rent anymore.

In May 2004, we implemented a “Clean Water Project” for the Nangka Mangyans by constructing a SPRING BOX and WATER TANK with 1250 meters pipe to reach the community.

In July 2004, we started the construction of the 2 storey building which will serve as our mission development center. December 2004, we finished the first level of the building. November 2006, we finished the second level of the building but all these still needs finishing touches. This 2007 , we hope to complete the roof top and all the finishing works.
